More paintings than ever were on display at the club's Spring Exhibition in the Garden Gallery this year.
A wide variety of over 180 paintings, all available for purchase, were submitted by nearly 40 club members.
We also increased the range of exhibits with a small display of sculptures, textiles and mosiacs.

The highlight of the evening was the annual presentation of the Wilfrid Appleby Cup by the well-known local artist Henk van Zanten.
He admitted that the high standard of the exhibits had made it difficult to decide which was the best. However, after much deliberation, he chose Colin Spencer's portrait of his wife, Alice, and those present agreed unanimously that this was indeed a worthy winner.
